Throughout her tenure as a conductor at YPC, and now as the Director of YPC National, Emma finds equal joy and fulfillment in the behind the scenes, day to day operations of non-profit administration as she does in teaching and performing. In her role directing YPC National, Emma oversees budget, development, marketing, strategic planning and artistic production – ensuring that all aspects of the organization move forward in dialogue with one another. In her day to day work as a conductor, Emma works with a similar focus on precise and frequent communication between the many players involved in an arts education organization – from families, to fellow conductors, to the production, development and marketing teams – all in pursuit of inclusivity and organization wide excellence.
